Tensions rise as employees at Detroit area dealership are informed of poor economy based layoffs

We hear it, read it and watch it all day long. The economy sucks and the once booming Motor City economy is in dire straights. With the “Big 3″ auto makers struggling to tread water dealerships across the country are closing and incurring massive layoffs. No where is that more a reality than Detroit, Michigan.
Peep this video of a news report live from a closing day for a dealership in a suburb of Grand Rapids, MI. As news spread that the day would be employees last, tensions flared and one gentleman expressed his anger with his fist. While your first impulse might be to laugh, its really very sad and humbling. Yes the auto and financial industries are taking a huge hit but the residual effects of their demise will be felt in yours and my industries as well if they haven’t already. Its real out there people.
