According to TMZ, on Wenesday, one of Akon’s producers, Detail was robbed at gunpoint of more than $300,000 in money and possessions at his Van Nuys, Calif. home.

Christopher Walker, who works for Detail told the outlet that at 3:00 AM five men broke into the crib with guns and said they were there to collect a debt on behalf of Suge Knight.  The men stole $170,000 worth of jewelry from Detail’s room.  They then demanded a key to the safe.  When they didn’t get the key, they took the entire 130 pound safe.  Before leaving the bandits made off with stereo equipment, a key to a Mercedes and goods totaling what Walker clams was more than $200,000 although police claim its more like $300,000. If indeed the men represented Knight, the incident probably stems from the NBA All-Star weekend Beatdown Suge received by two men in Akon’s entourage. No one was hurt in the incident.

In other Akon news, Shaheed Najm, father and former manager of T-Pain, is beefing with the singer for allegedly creating a permanent emotional and financial rift with his son.

In an interview with Ozone magazine, Najm says his son fired him as his manager after Akon and his brother Bu spread lies to T-Pain behind his back during negotiations to sign T-Pain to his Konvict Music outfit.

“Unknown to me, they were having different discussions behind the scenes. Akon had my son signing papers without contacting me, knowing that I’m his manager,” Najm stated. “[Akon and Bu] spread rumors that I’m on crack. Most folks don’t know this, but I’m on a waiting list for a heart transplant. I’ve had a triple bypass and a stroke since dealing with the [T-Pain's company] Nappy Headz. For them to disgrace me like this and treat me like a bad daddy – that’s why I’m fighting back. I’ve let a lot of things go without commenting out of respect for my son. And I didn’t sue to get my money because that’s my child. I love him more than I love money.”

In 2005 T-Pain alleged in an interview that his father demanded $250,000 in back payment for his managerial services. Though he admits asking for money he says the amount was bogus.

“T-Pain said in an interview that I so-called blackmailed him for$250,000. I am the first black male in the damn family,” Najm said. “I am the original black male. (laughs). But I never tried to blackmail him for $250,000. That’s a goddamn lie. I’ve never asked him for $250,000 to pay my bills. I asked him to give me and his mother one show per month and let us split the proceeds. At the time he was only making $20,000 a show. One show a month…I really don’t appreciate being lied on. I’ve heard all kinds of stuff, but when you challenge me as a man and as a father, I hate that with a passion.”

Najm says though the beef has put a strain on his relationship with his son he still loves him but plays the background to keep the peace.
