President Obama To Appear On The Tonight Show

Obama once again shows he’s going to go about running the country in a very different way.

On Thursday March 19th President Obama will do something no sitting president has ever done. He’s going to appear on a late night talk show. It may not seem like a big deal but it is certainly a break from tradition. In the past the only ways for presidents to communicate with the American people were press conferences, State of the Union addresses and radio addresses. Now Obama has issued in an era where we see our president on late night talk shows and YouTube. Amazingly the White House even keeps a blog now.

Obama promised transparency and new ways to reach the people and he seems to be delivering.

As for Jay Leno, this may be his biggest show ever as he prepares to say good bye to the Tonight Show and make way for Conan O’Brian.
