First Look: Fight Night 4 Cover With Tyson And Ali
Fans got to vote on who should get the cover and they couldn’t decide. Also Tyson gives comments on cover.
It’s become a weird world we live in when the greatness of a football player isn’t really measured by stats or how many Super Bowl rings they have but by whether they have ever been featured on the cover of Madden Football games. This is starting to be replicated for other sports as a well.
With EA’s newest version of the Fight Night series, they wanted to put he greatest boxer of all time, Mike Tyson or Muhammad Ali , on the cover and they left it up to fans to decide who that was via a website AliorTyson.com. However the fans couldn’t decide and thus both box legendary boxers made the cover. Mike Tyson even had this to say about the cover…
“I’m honored to be on the cover of Fight Night Round 4 with Ali. He was a special champ, and I have the highest respect for him as a person and a fighter,” said Tyson. “People always ask me if I think I would have beaten Ali if I had the chance to fight him when we were both in our prime. Now you can figure it out for yourselves. Fight Night puts you right in that ring and gives you the gloves to settle the score.”
So is this about right to you guys? Is it really a tie when it comes to who is the greatest heavyweight of all time?

That’s a tough one. It seems to me that Tyson maybe fought a few more “nobodies” than Ali, but I could be wrong.
it is fair..they both were great. one was feared and the other was respected.and for the record,mike tyson fought a lot of nobodies because nobody wanted to fight him..
right. i think its a good look. caint wait to cop it. sold my round III for midnite club LA…
Mike Tyson, fought alot of nobodies?! Are you serious? do your research Tyson cleaned out the heavyweight division and was the undisputed champ. He was just too much for anyone to handle while he was in his prime. When does this come out?
Sorry yall I’m a huuuge mike fan but he’s not on Ali’s level. The social climate with which Ali had to contend was on a whole other level from Tyson. Ali used his fists and his words to combat social unrest and racism in this country and abroad. You can’t even compare the two.

Tyson’s demons were purely internal. You’ve gotta remember Ali was banned from boxing for not serving his country while Tyson was banned for his own actions.

As far as opponents, Ali fought some of the greatest, Frasier, Liston, Patterson, Norton, Spinks and Holmes. WHOA!

i think mike woulda got Ali if they were to have fought while in their primes. U saw what Frasier did to him. Mike hits harder than frasier n dare say Liston n Foreman. well, i dnt kno bout Foreman…
