Ludacris w/ The Roots
If you haven’t guessed by now I’m totally gassed by The Roots ascension to Late Night as the house band for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. While Jimmy had a very tough week it all became worth it Thursday night when Serena Williams hauled her tremendous fatty acids on the show to play a game of beer pong with Jimmy? (How white boy frat party is that?) Then in the apex of the show to date, Ludacris took the state to perform a Live medley off his “Theater of the Mind” album with the musical accompaniment of the Roots.
I will admit their status as the house band casts a weird shadow on the respect they deserve. I mean Black Thought running hype man? Its a little weird I must admit. Its like is he going to be the house hype man? None the less the performance was certified flame.
