Cypress Hill Is Back Together
Finishing their first group album since 2004
B-Real, lead emcee for Cypress Hill has announced that the group is back in the studio putting a bow on is first studio album since 2004.
“We’re mixing right now,” he tells Billboard.com. He described the new album, which is slated for release on Suburban Noize Records, as “gritty. It’s aggressive. It’s like hip-hop straight-up. We just felt like we needed to go back to that raw, gritty hip-hop sound but try to find a way to bridge it with what’s going on now.”
B-Real says fans should expect cameos from Everlast, and Alchemist, but warned “we don’t really do a lot of collaborations in Cypress. We keep it in house.”
Each of the group members had been working on solo projects since 2004′s “Til Death Do Us Part” and their split with Columbia Records including B-Real’s first solo album, “Smoke N Mirrors.”

I was listening to Cypress Hill earlier, good throwbacks.
