In the civil rights movement, sit-ins emerge as a new, non-violent strategy to end segregation. On “Meet The Press,” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. says the strategy will also cause people to reevaluate stereotypes of blacks

I think this one pretty much speaks for it’s self. Watch this rare interview where Martin Luther King, Jr. talks about why he feels sit-ins and non-violent protest was the best route for the civil rights movement.
