Okay i gotta defend Marcus here cause thats the second time i think you’ve mentioned his picture. When I was redesigning the site i wanted to have pictures of the bloggers but i didnt have time to wait for each to get the perfect picture together and i went with what i had on hand. The wife beater isn’t exactly a good representation of Marcus’ fashion sense as in the 10 years or so I’ve known the guy, I’ve never seen him actually step outside of his crib wearing just a wifebeater. So though thats what you see on his posts there have been more than a few posts on the site that have shown Marcus out and about and he wasn’t wearing anything close to a wifebeater.
As for Kanye, I understand that you feel dude’s passion for fashion and his ability to be different from the norm. But just because someone decided that they “know fashion” doesn’t mean that what they wear is hot. If I were to go outside in what he has on in that picture, people would laugh at me. With good reason because it looks silly. So what makes it not silly? Because Kanye West is the one wearing it and he’s a famous rapper? Sorry that’s not good enough for me. I also like the way Kanye strives to break from the norms but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t look stupid doing it.
If I was to take fashion cues from any famous hip hop figure, I’d go with Diddy. I’m trusting his fashion sense a bit more since he makes millions in that industry.
