Image Of The Day: Beaten And Bruised Rihanna
How real is this?
It seems like for a lot of people Chris Brown‘s attack on Rihanna was something that was probably being blown out of proportion. I think this image, which was obtained by TMZ, makes the whole thing much more real. It also make that apology he gave look more like an extreme effort to downplay the event instead of a heartfelt request for forgiveness. Dude said he “was saddened” by what happened. The fact that you beat her face in make you sad?
When Dos Un asked The Nation, “what Chris Brown’s punishment should be?“, not a single person said jail time. I few people even said that things along the line of “that happens sometimes in relationships”. Still feel that way?

Love makes folks do some crazy things. Its very unfortunate. Allow me to look at the silver lining for a second, this will bring much more attention and funding to battered women advocacy and lobbiest groups and that’s a good thing. Other than that I have no further opinion. *smh*

The pic is very real. it is the pic that was taken by investigators the night of the incedent. they often take pictures like this to have evidence and record of the injuries that the victim received. Also keep in mind that this was right after it happened. so it’s before any real swelling took place. She likely looked much much worse the next day.
Good point, Juan. The silver lining in this is, at most, all we have to look forward to.

I’m hoping this is some photoshop situation. My concern is who leaked the photo. And why did it have to come out the day before her birthday?
my sentiments exactly, I find it too coincidental and ridiculous that they would release a photo like this. Who ever did it needs to be fired immediately and then sued. They can’t release the boys mugshot but they can release this. I hope all is well with her because this is truly horrible
The photo could have been cooked after it was leaked. I’m no expert but I’ve worked with Photoshop enough to know if its is doctored it was done by a world class Adobe surgeon.
Yeah she took some punishment, but that still doesnt explain everything that happen. Where is the pic of him?

Heard LAPD is “investigating” the photo leak…my question is why?
I say the pic is real. It has to be if they are investigating how it got out. Also, I still feel the same way, the picture doesn’t change anything. You just can’t be emotional about stuff like this when you are talking about the law. No jail time, they don’t live together, they are not married, there is no established history of abuse. Probation, and a restraining order…that’s about it. BUT mainly the relationship needs to end, please no reconciliation.

Personally I think that this is all crazy. Chris shoulda never put his hands on a woman and they’re talking about charged with “threats” when obviously he beat her face in because as you see he hasn’t denied anything! I think he should go to jail, not for a long time, but he should go. And jus because “this happens in relationships” doesn’t justify the fact it ok and he shouldn’t go 2 jal 4 it, that’s just an ignorant statement
