Watching Black History: Audio Interview with Former Slave Fountain Hughes
Fountain Hughes, a 101-year old former slave, talks about the suffering he experienced as a boy.
This one is not “watching black history” as much as it is “listening to black history”. In the clip you will hear the voice of Fountain Hughes who recalls his time as a slave when he was a child. It hard to explain the feeling that you get hearing someone who was really there talk about these things.
