Re-United and It Feels so Good

Shaquille O’neal  and Kobe Bryant  were both honored as MVP’s of the 2009 NBA All Star Game. Shaq won MVP in the pregame player announcements when he came out and danced with the mime dance group Jabbawockeez. We didn’t know it then but that was the highlight of the game. Shaq also sparked a 19-0 run for the West in the second quarter and had four dunks in a three-minute stretch of the third quarter. This included a give and go between Shaq and Chris Paul where Shaq passed the ball through Dwight Howard’s legs and then made a sharp back cut to the basket and finished with a dunk. Kobe through his hat in the ring by scoring a game high 27 points which he did w/o breaking a sweat. Although he did have a couple nasty throwdowns including one where he completely faked out Lebron James before the flush.

In my opinion Shaq was the MVP yeah Kobe had the points but the Shaq was the Most Valuable Player in the game. He was the Game, and was the key to his team winning. Before he came in the game the east was up by almost twenty and it was looking like Dwight Howard was going to be the MVP but Shaq came in and shut him down.

On another note all those “Lebron is the Best Player in the League” folks last night was another example of why Kobe is tops and not Lebron. On a big stage Kobe had Ice water in his veins not afraid to shoot the ball and lead his team to a victory while Lebron was nowhere to be found, similar to the Olympic games last summer and last years playoffs. Lebron is a beast but he aint Kobe! (Game Blouses) !

I wonder how many more championships they could’ve won together. At least one more. As far as the Lebron vs. Kobe argument, that is the only legit argument for Kobe. I’ll give you that. Kobe has the experience, ego and the killer instinct Lebron still doesn’t seem to have….YET. He’ll get it though.

    that was a glorious moment
