Vibe Magazine Has Too Much ‘Fun’ W/ the Chris Brown/ Rihanna Fiasco

Posted by Juan

What gives?

Rihanna

Apparently Vibe Magazine has taken the Chris Brown and Rihanna domestic violence dispute/ soon to be attempted murder fiasco a little too lightly.  On its website, Vibe.com, the magazine maintains a cache of “Celebs” profile pages, each with links to archived articles, photos, video, ringtones and more. In addition each celeb is given a short blurb detailing a “Fun Fact” and “Claim to Fame.”

Following the recent alleged assault, Vibe updated both artist profiles to reflect news of their involvement.  Unfortunately the “Fun Facts” are in bad taste to say the least.  What do you think?

Vibe Chris Brown

CHRIS BROWN
Fun Fact: Brown has been booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, while under investigation for domestic violence charges, following an argument with fellow singer and girlfriend Rihanna in Hancock Park, Los Angeles, California.

RIHANNA
Fun Fact: Rihanna was scheduled to perform at the 2009 Grammy Awards. After an altercation with her boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, he was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats against her. Rihanna was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries, including bruises, cuts, and being choked unconscious.

Not too much fun getting locked up or being choked unconscious is there?  Am I tripping here folks?  Check me if I am.

Who am I two talk tho wii make misteaks all the thyme.

  1. Zack says:

I love the spelling error at the end. It shows that you are comfortable with who you are (and that’s a guy who just can’t spell). I kid! I kid! But you’re not tripping. It’s your honest opinion and you are entitled to it. And I am getting tired of this story.

  2. I think they just might have put it under the wrong header. Maybe it should have been “Current News” or something similar. But I can see why you would feel the way that you do. I found no humor in the text. While reading I thought they would have had an off-color joke in there or something.
