Janet Jackson Rumored To Sign With New Live Nation Conglomerate

Posted by Juan

Would release new album under the company in the spring

janet Jackson

Rumor has it Janet Jackson has negotiated a deal with the newly dubbed Live Nation Entertainment.  Yesterday, Live Nation made headlines when it confirmed our report and merged with live entertainment juggernaut, Ticketmaster.

If the rumors are true, Jackson would would release her new album under Live Nation this spring.  No word on whether she has been offered or is pursuing a 360 deal similar to the one signed by Jay-Z.

One thing to note, while the rumor seems credible it would contradict the reports that Live Nation was somehow responsible for her disastrous tour last year.

  1. Let’s hope she gets the right producers to help her on an effort that takes her to the next level. Her last two attempts were questionable. Indeed, the label and the artist need to have synergy on a vision, which is why she said her last album only produced two singles.

Good photo, Juelz! This is much better than our debate on Farrah Gray in which you tried to talk slick to me.
