Rick Ross’ Own Lawyer De-Values His Gangsta
To beat a small gun/ weed charge Ross’s lawyer laughs off his gang ties.
The more we learn about Rick Ross aka the Bawse or should I say Mr. William Leonard Roberts the more paper his gangster becomes. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a normal ordinary dude but when you perpetrate and in effect lie, folks are going to call you to the carpet.
Undisputed rap beef champ, 50 Cent has been kicking “the Bawses” ass through the first 11 rounds of this fight and it appears Ross’ own attorney may have set him up for the decisive knockout blow. In court documents acquired by The Smoking Gun, Ross’s connections with Miami gang the Carol City Cartel were determined to be the figment of his imaginative rap persona.
Last April during a deposition of Officer Rey Hernandez, a Miami Beach cop who arrested Ross in January 2008 on gun and marijuana charges, Ross’s lawyer, Allan Zamren, asked Hernandez why Ross’s case was assigned to the gang task force.
“Because your client claims affiliation with Carol City Cartel and other known gang members,”Hernandez replied. The cop then directed Zamren to “some literature or video on U-Tube that you can pull up for yourself.”
On Ross’s supposed gang ties.
“Do you have anybody from a Carol City gang that you have information on or basis of any knowledge that says he is affiliated with them?”
Hernandez answered, “No.”
Zamren then asked, “Do you have anything that shows you he was affiliated with any gang?”
Hernandez replied, “No, I do not.”
In the end Hernandez acknowledged that, prior to the January 2008 bust, Ross had never been in his life long residence, Miami-Dade County. The weed charge was later dropped but he can take some solice in the fact that he’s got some street clout since they’re still prosecuting the gun charge. FIFTY’S got Officer Ricky on a tee.

he is a good rapper he should have been truthful from the begining and not claim that gang itsh. Plenty of great rappers don’t talk guns or hussle. He could have came out like Husslin but as black man hussle from job to job hussle. Drug husslin ain’t the only hussle thats hard a solid nine to five tryin to support my family and not get fired is way harder then the drug game. Drug dealers can skip bill payments and our there own bosses but the rest of us are slaves to the economy. Ross should have been real with it. His career is destroyed.
But would he even have had a career had he decided to tell the truth? What rec exec under the present day music industry would have bought into that persona.

William Leonard Roberts is 100% phony just like the whole rap genre has became. He really fits in quite nice. Stealing real gang members names (50 cent, Noreaga, Scarface, Capone, Jim Jones)is nothing new but at least those other guys are dead. The real Rick Ross is still alive. And his beef with Floyd Mayweather is retarded because Floyd would kick his ass so bad that he would never want to show his face in public ever again. In conclusion, he is just like MC Gusto from CB4 and a moron of a rapper with some moron fans, wich is fine with me. I still listen to Public Enemy, Rakim, Del, and Nas.
