Kevin Garnett, Derek Jeter & the JabbaWockeez Kick Off New Quest for G Gatorade Campaign
Inspired by Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Here’s the latest effort from Gatorade for their new G branded line of sports drinks. Now that the Superbowl is behind us the Gatorade advertising mind trust has shifted focus. This new campaign entitled the Quest for G is inspired by Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
The campaign is filmed throughout parts of Europe and the United States and features G athletes Kevin Garnett, Derek Jeter and Usain Bolt as the Knights of G.
This is the first one which depict the Knights doing battle against the JabbaWockeeZ who are doing very big things after taking home the title on MTV’s hip hop dance reality series America’s Best Dance Crew. The JabbaWockeeZ are a very talented dance crew. I didn’t watch that MTV show but I’ve seen their work on YouTube. I wish the commercial could have displayed more.
I watched when they were on…them dudes go IN!!!
