Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons Divorce Final

Posted by Juan

Now Kimora is free to procreate freely…oh wait she already did

Russell and Kimora

It took nearly three years, but the divorce of Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons has at last been finalized, according to reports, with “dissolution” cited as the final judgment in their amicable split.

After 11 years of marriage, the union that connected one of Hip Hop’s most powerful couples is now dissolved.  The couple first announced the amiable divorce in 2006 and in June of last year, Lee was granted sole custody of her two beloved daughters, 8-year-old Ming Lee and 6-year-old Aoki Lee, with Simmons still granted liberal visitation rights.

The 33-year-old former model has clearly moved on but still maintains a working and friendly relationship with Russell.  We announced here last week that Lee and her current boyfriend, 44-year-old two-time Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou are expecting their first child together.

While financials from the divorce were not fully made public, it is very clear that Russell’s pockets have been and will continue to be a few ounces lighter.  Perhaps he should put some of his earnings on those RushCards of his.

The RushCard is a prepaid Visa card. It offers the convenience of a credit card, without the debt.  It’s prepaid which means that the money you put on the card sets the limit for how much you can spend.   CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.
