Strategic Partnership hints at visions of a black Google empire

Global Grind

Over the last week, Global Grind has been on its…well…grind. Today the Russell Simmons‘ content aggregation site announced a partnership with RushmoreDrive.com, the search engine for the Black community.

Under the terms of the partnership, the two entities will exchange content in hopes of creating a central portal for all news and information relevant to the Black communities.RushmoreDrive.com will provide Global Grind with The Daily Drive newsletter content, as well as its news and opinion feature entitled Detour, articles and views affecting the Black Community. Additionally, Global Grind’s signature Grind It button and utility has been added to this same content within the RushmoreDrive.com site enabling users to grind their favorite blog posts and articles to share with the entire GlobalGrind.com community.

Eventually the RushmoreDrive search functionality will be integrated into the GlobalGrind.com navigation giving users what the company feels are more relevant search results.

  1. I’m just still not feeling Global Grind. I think they are making all these moves that seem big but the site itself needs a lot of work. A whole lot. I’ll be watching though.

  2. Zack says:

I hope Ruffell searches for an orthodontist on his ghetto version of Google.

  3. Still too much of a jumbled site.
