50 Cent Hints at the Launch of New Dietary Supplement Business
Spits some venom at Diddy while he’s at it.
Is it me or is 50 like the Yankees. Just when you think he’s falling off he goes and makes a huge free agent acquisition. Critics of the volatile opportunistic rapper were circling like vultures as his 4th LP Before I Self-Destruct kept getting pushed back. However the Stienbrenner of rap apparently once again made moves to further diversify his multi-million dollar portfolio with a new dietary supplement.
For years 50 has expressed an interest in diving in the billion dollar industry. The genre is one of the few that appears to be recession resiliant as well.
“Right now, I’m interested in dietary supplements,” 50 told the NY Daily News. “I’ll be coming up with something very soon.”
50 has yet to actually announce his plans or even indicate if he’s actually made a move, signed a partnership or is involved in negotiations however from previous experience, we should take 50 at his word.
“I can’t tell you what it would be called,” 50 said. “I’d be blowing the big launch party!”
In an interesting subtle dig at fellow friend and entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs. Fif seems to almost blame his recent admitted musical slump on following Diddy’s business blueprint.
“When [my career] blew up, I developed the Diddy syndrome,” 50 explained. “As soon as you develop the Diddy syndrome, you put a little more grease in your hair, and soon enough, you’re selling cologne.”
Interesting. 50 is never without his controversy.

I’d like to see him really step up out of this an start taking advantage of the down economy to make some smart investments in other areas.
he has also had some harsh harsh words for Rick Ross. Apparently he intends on enging Rick’s career in Feb. 2009. No lie:
