Official Rules For The “Yes Wii Can” Contest

Highbrid Nation “Yes Wii Can” Contest
OFFICIAL INTERNET CONTEST RULES
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. How to Enter:
A. This Highbrid Nation “Yes Wii Can” Contest (the “Contest”) will begin at 12:00AM EST on 1/26/2009 and end at 11:59PM EST on 2/21/2009 (the “Entry Period”).
B. Its easy all you have to do is BLOG! In your own words tell us YOUR plan over the next 4 years to help Obama achieve his lofty goals for this country. No guidelines, no word limits. To give you a head start we ask that you start with the phrase, “Yes Wii Can.” Then email us your completed blog to evorgleb@highbrid.com. Entries will be accepted now through February 12th. Starting February 14th- 21st we will post the top three entries (as determined by the Highbrid staff) as blogs here on HighbridNation.com for everyone to see, read and comment on. Finalist will appear as guest Highbrid bloggers and be required to answer their comments, defend their positions and advance the discussion. All online entries must be received by 11:59PM PT on 2/12/09. For purposes of these Official Rules, “receipt” of an online entry occurs when the website servers records your essay submission. Any automated computer receipt (such as one confirming delivery of email) does not constitute proof of actual receipt of an online entry for purposes of these Official Rules. Only one essay submission per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted. Each online entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access Provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. The Company and its sponsors are not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or any other technological glitches. Contest entrants are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the names and addresses associated with each submission.
C. The submission of an entry is solely the responsibility of the entrant. Entries may only be made according to the method described above. Automated entries (including but not limited to entries submitted using any bot, script, macro, or contest service), copies, third party entries, facsimiles and/or mechanical reproductions are not permitted and will be disqualified. Only eligible entries actually received by the Company before the end of the specified entry period will be included in the prize drawing. All entries become the property of the Company, and none will be acknowledged or returned. The Company, in their sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the company’s website, or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The Company and its sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of being completed as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
2. Eligibility Restrictions:
A. Contest is open to all bloggers and readers of highbridnation.com who are 18 years of age or older except promotional partners and employees and immediate families of Highbrid Entertainment, LLC, its partners, their successors, agents, affiliates or subsidiaries and employees of Highbrid Entertainment, LLC.
B. Entrants are required to provide truthful, current, complete information in all contest entries and the Company will disqualify any entry that the Company believes, in its sole discretion, to be false or fraudulent. The Company will also disqualify and destroy any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
C. Consumers are eligible to win a contest administered by the Company only once every sixty days (60) and a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six (6) months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
3. Prizes:
A. Winners of the contest will be eligible to win a Nintendo Wii, as long as such prize is available and in stock from third party suppliers or retailers and is able to be purchased by Company at Suggested Retail Price.
B. All prizes must be picked up at the office of Highbrid Entertainment, LLC. The winner will forfeit any prize not claimed within 10 days of winning. In the event that a prize is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Company is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize. Contest prizes are not transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Winner is not permitted to substitute the prize. Company reserves the right to substitute alternative prize of equivalent value should any portion of the prize become unavailable. Other restrictions may apply.
C. All questions pertaining to this promotion should be directed to the Company.
4. Selection of Finalist(s) and Winner:
A. Decisions of the Company staff with respect to the contest are final.
