From the way he’s talking, I guess he heard that song off the “We R The Streets”(LOX second album, a classic BTW!!!) of the same name.
Here’s an unreleased diss track that you may have already heard. Legend has it, Shyne penned the lyrics, and though it never saw the light of day, Clinton Sparks later used the verse on a track called “Run This City”.
You may also recognize the beat from the track “Guerilla Monsoon Rap”, with Kanye West, Pharoahe Monch and Black Thought off Talib Kweli’s Quality LP.
