Angela & Vanessa Simmons Launch Pastry Accessory Line
Young entrepreneurs expand their colorful empire
Vanessa and Angela Simmons are spreading their wings. For those of you who missed it they now have their own spin-off TV show called Daddy’s Girls on MTV chronicling their experience of kick starting their footwear apparel company Pastry.
Well today the girls announced that they are moving into Accessories. Under a new partnership August Accessories they will launch a Pastry Accessory line later this Fall just in time for back to school. August will design, manufacture, and sell the line which will consist of will consist of watches, hats, and cold weather accessories but the girls will be a major part of the design and creation.
Pastry Accessories will be available at department and specialty stores ranging from $15.00 to $150.00 bucks.

LOVE THEM!!! Although the extremely-scripted spin off Daddy’s Girls provokes a lot of “side-eye” glances at the tv, I’m happy they they are making the effort to promote a good image to urban youth. See racists! We can have money and still know how to act!! So there! lol
I caught the most recent episode where they showed the internal business conflict between selling out for more bread and sexing up the brand image or staying true to their core youth audience. Good stuff…others should take note.

While Venessa is more age appropriate and physically more attractive I think Angela’s personality is more endearing. No…I’m not Bow Wow.
Angela looks too much like Run sometimes too. Like When I second look I be like Obama, “Nah we Straight”
