Ahh Yes, My Man D’angelo Has an Album on The Way & Prince Will Be a Feature

D’Angelo’s long anticipated album received a title and a surprising collaboration with ‘the purple one’ this week — Prince ! According to a statement from his manager, D’Angelo will sit down with Prince to record a song for his comeback album, now titled “James River,” soon. Yes, bout damn time son. Been too long but I know you still got it.
“James River,” D’Angelo’s first studio effort in nearly 9 years, is also sporting a collaboration with Gnarls Barkley’s Cee-Lo Green. Green joins Raphael Saadiq, Mark Ronson, and Roy Hargrove, who have already contributed to D’Angelo’s forthcoming album.
In addition to “James River,” D’Angelo is plotting a return to the stage with a summer tour. D’Angelo’s last album, “Vodoo” featuring the single “Untitled (How Does It Feel),” reached no.1 on several charts.

Yeah we need that new CD! But on the real…Marcus, u were nice to him cause u could’ve posted the mug shot joint where he was looking like ODB haaaaaaard body lol. But I read somewhere that he claimed the pressure from being a sex-symbol caused him to fall back and get into the drugs/alcohol. He said that females were coming to the shows that he worked days perfecting and all they cared about was him taking his shirt off. I say f-it!
