BUSINESS MATTERS: Jim Jones Appointed VP of A&R at Koch
From fighting outside the Louis store to the board room. Only in America
Today KOCH Records announced that they have appointed Jim Jones to the high position of Vice President of Urban A&R. This of course despite the fact that he’s an alleged Louis Kufi smacker.
“It feels good to know that the hard work has been recognized by the same people that have helped me get to this point in my career,” Jones added. “They recognize that I’m not only an artist but a person that can smell talent and be able to mold a superstar.”
I’m not to sure about molding talent. This is the company line. Who really cultivates “talent” in the music inustry. (In my opinon) Jim Jones isn’t talented himself so how could he spot it from others? I don’t know what this all means other than the fact the we should still expect his very long awaited (by some) debut album from Skull Gang feat Juelz Santana dropping February 24th, 2009.
