Lupe Fiasco Trades In Rap For Cheesy British Rock?
Internet Rumors buzz around leaked rock tracks allegedly feat. Lupe in a bad English accent.
Lupe Fiasco has been threatening to fashionably retire from hip hop following his next album. However he may not need to trade in his mic, skateboard and tight jeans as rumors are swirling that the Chicago native is going to rock out.
FakeShoreDrive.com is reporting that Lupe has been covertly recording in a fake British accent under then name Percival Fats for the new rock band, Japanese Cartoon.
On “his” very low key and unasuming myspace page the alleged Lupe has previewed two tracks entitled “Heirplanes” and “Army.”
While I’m clearly no expert on the genre they’re painful to listen to and I’m willing to bet you won’t make it through either. I’m going to go out on a limb and say this is a joke that someone has turned into a festering rumor. I find it very hard to believe that Lupe Fiasco is going to be doing cheesy british rock despite his eclectic taste and tacky fashion. We’ll see though. I’ve obviously been wrong before.

You’re right, I couldn’t make it through. That was wack. I’m gonna run it past a buddy of mine that likes wack rock music and see what he thinks.
