Soulja Boy Says Nas Killed Hip Hop And His Own Career
Soulja Boy has has his own theory on who is responsible for killing hip hop and it has nothing to do with him.
Soulja Boy has been catching feelings for a while now. For quite sometime people have been telling him that he represents everything that is wrong with hip hop. How would that make you feel if you were a kid and people were telling you that you ruined an entire culture. You’d likely cop pleas and point fingers. That’s what Soulja Boy is doing now. He says that it wasn’t him that killed it but Nas. Nas killed hip hop by declaring “Hip Hop Is Dead”. According to Soulja Boy thats what caused the problems. Check the video….
I could go on about this for a while but I’d like to hear what you guys think about all this.
Does this guy just smoke a whole lot and talk his head off while someone records?
It seems like he just needs to keep some of the stuff he thinks to himself, because it’s usually pretty random and not thought through..

One of the more interesting things I got from it was whole Soulja Boy equates the quaity of a rapper by how many album sales he has. He talks about how Lil Wayne’s first week numbers were so much higher than Nas’ but Soulja Boy did an a measly 46,000 his first week and that was even with his “go platnium in the first week” campaign.
nah he just said that nas hurt his self by saying hip hop is dead and lil wayne helped his self by saying hes the best rapper alive and he said sales makes it where you can proclaim your self as something h said hes the king of the internet because he sells more than any other artist on the internet he said 50s the king of new york because he sells more than any other artis in new york and waynes the best rapper because he sells more than all the other rapper i agree with soulja boy nas killed hip hop by stating hip hop was dead if he felt that way he sholdve made music to try to bring it back no state it out and hurt alot of other rappers and himself
In his mind it doesn’t matter because Nas is older. He should have more sales because he’s had longer to live so he knows more people = more sales. Dude is confused that’s all.
My question is what are they eating? Chinese Cereal? I know YouTube is great and all but this guy sometimes kills me with the impromptu soliloquies that he randomly records in hopes of dropping some by chance pearls of wisdom. We’ll keep waiting on that.
This proves that the younger generation have no idea what Hip-Hop is really all about. Hip-Hop is now “popular culture”, thats why wayne was able to sell those albums. Hip-Hop died because the music became popular to people who didnt give a fuck about the culture. I became so lucritive that we forgot where it came from. soulja BOY need to do his homework and think about what he is going to say before he say it. For him to equate Nas to GWB is outright insane. Record sales aint shit, Hammer sold 10 Million records!!!!!! Hip-Hop is now a copy-cat league, thats why its dead. If Kanye or T-Pain come out with a new style, everybody jump on that shit, its pathetic.
Or if Kanye or T-Pain comes out with a style they’ll jump on each others nuts as well.
