RZA Wants To Tap Rihanna…For A Role In His Last Dragon Remake
Can she really fill the shoes of Vanity?
While talking to MTV, RZA talked a little about what he has planned for his remake of The Last Dragon. The most interesting tidbit is the fact that he wants Rihanna to play the part of Laura Charles (formerly played by one of the sexiest women to ever live, Vanity). Check what RZA said about Rihanna in the project in general:
“That’s the one I’m rooting for. We’re keeping that same concept of the girl being in the music business. We’re gonna make it real classic. We’re not gonna take it back to the ’80s. We’re gonna try it a few years ahead. Modern times, but a few steps ahead in the future. We got some crazy ideas, but the main thing is still finding that glow. That’s still the theme of the film, to find that glow in yourself.”
“I’m co-producing and I’ll add my martial arts expertise and add my ideas and make a phat film from that cult classic we all loved as kids. The first draft of the script is in right now. We definitely should be shooting in ’09.”
Rihanna is not signed on but with a big name like Samuel L. Jackson already attached, maybe Rihanna will give it a go. I personally always thought Rihanna was perfect for movies. Not really as an actress in films but more along the lines of having a forehead that is big enough to show movies on in the event that a screen was unavailable.
Seriously, I wonder why RZA would want a person to star in his first movie that hasn’t shown any ability to act to date. Then again Vanity wasn’t that great of an actress either. But she was like 1000 times better looking than Rihanna.
If only that picture of Rihanna wasn’t photoshopped..
It may be hard to believe but that is indeed the real Rihanna holding her real breasts. She did indeed pose nude for FHM. Before you get too exited though, all the pictures were taken so nothing is really exposed.

Are you calling her five head a third screen? Too funny. I don’t want to see her in that role. I’m not so sure who would be fit to play it but not her, please not her.

you know you are so wrong for that lol I’m just not for remaking The Last Dragon that movie is legendary…plus the most obvious..rihanna can not sing!
Mike, Mike, Mike…you should do stand up kid. What I find most interesting about The RZA’s quote is that he hopes the movie will be “Phat.” Man the Wu has really fallen off haven’t they. This movie stands to be right in line with Vinnie Chase’s “Medellin”
OK…I think it is a good move by RZA to talk about getting Rhianna for The Last Dragon Remake b/c Rhianna fit the charater perfect. How many pretty light skinned musicians are there with the beauty of Vanity. Besides Byonce(which I am really tired of seeing in movies) who else can they use that has that marketable name to possibly sell this movie to the people. Vanity could not act so how much worse could Rhianna be and for that matter how much worse can she be than Beyonce.
plus, Vanity got half nekkid !!! I hope the movie comes out great!! you gotta rememebr he was involved in movies recently. He friends with tarantino too amongst others so he’s beedn gettin schoolin.
