This week we decided to dedicate Excess Bangers to the greatest video game franchise of all time, Street Fighter. In the late nineties I lived for two things. Hip Hop and Street Fighter. Ten years later, not much has changed.
This week I was able to feature a nice mix of established names as well as some up and comer such as hometown emcee Boaz. Of course I don’t need to tell you to make sure you download this week’s mixtape because it’s hot because by now you kow that it’s always hot.
As always, if you are an up and coming producer or recording artist, send me some stuff. If it’s hot, I’ll be more than happy to get it on one of our mixtapes. evorgleb at highbrid dot com. Also any bloggers who post one of our mixtapes on your site, let me know and I’ll be sure to hook you up with some link love.

My iPod will never be the same again. This every week mix tap drop is killa.
Yeh it’s pretty crazy right? We try to make sure you got something fresh every week.
Good looking, the tape is hot.
I want to like that Jay-Z joint real bad because the beat is sick and as always he “sounds” real good on the track but I can tell he just slapped that ish together cause the lyrics aren’t that deep or profound at all. I guess its not supposed to be with an anthem in 2008.
“…I L.A Dodger Them/I Jake I Rob i Sin/O God Iam Jackie Robinson(sin)/But When i Run Bass i Dodge The Pin…”
“…I pity, the fool with jewels like Mister T, with no history in my burrow, they borrow, with no intentions of returning tomorrow…”
I’m not the biggest Jigga fan…but everybody know I love wordplay.
As with most Jay-Z it grows on you. You don’t catch every reference the first spin around.
Its been growing on me as well
art is flamito
caliente!
