Scion and Run Athletics Humanitarian Sneaker Design Contest

Posted by Juan

To benefit Soles4Soles

Run Athletics

One thing is pretty clear across the board is that Highbrid Nation loves their kicks.  Now while its one thing to appreciate a fine piece of footwear its totally another to be able to design them.  Now Scion and Run Athletics are giving you the chance to put your Best Foot Forward with their Humanitarian Sneaker Design Contest for Soles4Soles

Aspiring sneaker designers are being asked to design a custom Run Athletics sneaker to help raise donations towards Soles4Souls, a non-profit dedicated to providing essential footwear to those in need around the globe. To enter visit  http://www.runathletics.com/soles4souls for more contest information andto  download the sneaker design template.  The panel of judges will include legendary urban artists.  The winning design will have the distinction of getting 300 limited-edition pairs manufactured.

The winner will be presented at a special banquet where the custom shoes will be given out to donors and others in attendance. Finish in the top 10 and you’ll have your designs mocked up and on display at the event where special guest  Reverend Run will sign them.

Sounds like a pretty dope contest if you ask me.  I can see K.Karboso ByTheMasses downloading the template now.  If not for fun its at least for a good cause.Via: 12ozprophet.com and Mare139
