OkayPlayer Launches Contest to Win Common’s UMC Jacket

Posted by Juan

Let it go Common…albums trash…we forgive you.

Universal Mind Control

Common’s plea copping campaign continues (say that 5 times fast!) He is teaming up with Okayplayer on a contest to give one lucky contestant a custom fit Universal Mind Control jacket ($300 value) and a copy of his album he’s repeatedly apologized for being garbage.

If you’re a common fan or just a collector you can enter to win by emailing okayplayercontest@gmail.com with your full name, mailing address, and jacket size. Winners will be picked at random, and annouced after the Holiday, on Tues. December 2nd. The jacket is similar to the one on the album cover.  The grand prize winner will also get a copy of the CD which is wack because its available for $1 anway.  But feel free to use it as a coaster or a weed plate if you partake in such activities.

  1. LOL @ “But feel free to use it as a coaster or a weed plate if you partake in such activities.”

  2. I got my hands on one of the tracks from the album yesterday and it was pretty hot. Maybe the album won’t be as wack as we are assuming. I still think its weird that this album doesn’t have the same branding (Common’s name logo) as his other projects. I need to get my hands on the whole thing so I can get down to the bottom of all this.
