? Of The Day: What Are YOU Thankful For?

Tis the season

Most of you are a probably having an early dismissal, maybe hitting the road for grandma’s house, plotting your Black Friday plans or getting an early jump on the cooking so I figured I’d keep it light today. This has been one of the toughest years ANY of us has probably ever faced in our lifetimes. The economy is in the toilet, banks are dropping like like Excess Bangers Mixtapes and bailouts are the buzzword but we still have much to be thankful for this holiday season.

I’m personally thankful that I can finally say that my role model is better than yours and he looks cool doing it. Thanks B.O.! I’m also thankful for my family especially my dad who has been going through some tough times but we’ll be ok pop. Lastly I’m thankful for all of you, The Highbrid Nation. What are you thankful for?

I’m thankful for being able. But I’m also thankful that I have a job that pays well enough that I can pay my bills on time and doesn’t require me to apply for bailout money (not that its an option for individuals). I’m thankful for folks like you (and the entire Highbrid Nation family)as well as the rest of the blogosphere. I’m thankful for having a home to go home to and a family that loves me. I’m also thankful for the handful of friends that I have that I can actually count on.

I’m thankful to be alive, have my brother, and my mother with me. Finally, I am so very to have Senator Barack Obama as President-Elect; I’m grateful for much needed change.
