Pharoahe Monch Interview with K-Salaam
Some deep ish here for you Monch fans
I think some true Hip Hop heads will agree with me when I say that Pharoahe Monch is one of the most underrated emcees in the history of the art form. I didn’t say the greatest, but he definately deserves more respect than he’s ever received from his early days with Organized Konfusion to his solo works. Here’s an in depth interview with Monch courtesy of OkayPlayer and conducted by K-Salaam. In part one he goes int about his early years, what hip hop means to him and biting styles. In part two he touches on his “Top 5″ and of course Barack Obama.

I am a big fan, but I feel that with his solo works he doesn’t ever delivery, there only a few tracks where u hear his full potential, and with his last LP he wanted to be more soulful then lyrical
good point. He was on his neo soul on that last LP.
