Fox Cancels MadTV

Posted by Mike "Evorgleb" Belgrove

The long running comedy show gets the ax.

So it looks like tons of shows on Fox are either getting canned or are in trouble of getting canned this season. Prison Break is done. King of the Hill is going to another network. My personal favorite, Terminator is in danger of getting canceled also. The list goes on and on. But one that I read about this morning that caught my attention was the fact that Quincey Jones produced MAD TV was getting canceled. It comes as an extra surprise to me because I didn’t know that MadTV was still on the air. I thought it got canceled years ago. The fact that viewers thought the show was already off the air could be one reason for it getting canceled. Another could be because it’s rival SNL has been putting up monster ratings due to its take on the election season. Oh Well. RIP…I guess

Oh I thought it was because Lil Wayne was on the cover of Mad Magazine?
