Real Housewives of Atlanta Beef: Lisa Hartwell KO’s Kim Zolciak
This is what happens when you throw money at some ghetto hot trash
So I’ve been staying away from blogging on the Real Housewives of Atlanta because its nothing but a bunch of high class ghetto diva foolishness but entertaining none the less. When it comes to black women I really try not to disparage them too much on Highbrid Nation because its hard enough for them in this society. However, I can stay quiet no longer.
Unlike its previous counterparts in New York and Orange county, the Atlanta bitches are (for the most part) black. I haven’t caught every episode but as the show develops you learn that these supposedly upscale/ affluent black women are just a bunch of hood rats that hit the jackpot, got married to an athlete or rich sugar daddy and transcended their ass up out the ghetto. But as the old adage says, you can take the chicken head out the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out the chicken head…or something like that.

Anyway, Essence recently interviewed Lisa Wu Hartwell the wife of former NFL player Ed Hartwell and ex-wife of Keith Sweat and she revealed that in the reunion show some building tensions between her and the only white chick on the show, Kim Zolciak boiled over and the two threw down during the taping! Peep.
“Let’s just say, Kim [Zolciak] pushed the wrong and the last button, which takes me there. Normally, I conduct myself professionally and I prefer to turn the other cheek, but you can’t allow people to continue to play with you because they’ll think they can do that all day, every day. So I’d say that people will be surprised because I was surprised and somewhat embarrassed myself, but I’m human and you have to let people know that they can’t just say whatever they want to you. I’ve been extremely diplomatic and there are horrible things I could have said but I have chosen not to and still do. When you come after my integrity or my family, then you’re going to see a different person….I’ve learned some people just have ill intentions, so I will deal with each individual accordingly. But people need to know that yes, I’m a businesswoman but I’m also a sparring woman.”
So there you have it. It doesn’t matter how much money, jewels, cars and houses SOME black women have you’re still going to see the same ghetto nonsense you see in the hood just on a different scale. I could go on and on…but i’ll stop there.

Yeah Kim is wack. This show in some ways does more to disparage black women than any of those I love New York or Flavor of Love programs could dream to. There’s good and there’s bad because its also important for young girls to see that just because you want to be a gold digger to get your come up out the hood doesn’t mean you’ll be any different a personality.

You idiot, Lisa is one of the most level headed and understanding people on the show. Stop stating that it is just the black women that are acting crazy when that white girl Kim is the one that keeps acting absolutely retarded. Also, the white women on the other shows married nito money just like the black women on this show have. Don’t racialize the way in which the black women act as “ghetto” “baby mamas” having “sugar daddies” etc. The other white women clearly act just as bad as these women do but because they are white it is not racialized and seen as normal bitchyness…..white women acting rude and fighting with each other is not cute as you seem to think it is, it is the exact same thing that these black women are doing except society has found a way to make it seem ghetto when blacks do it……do some research and get it together, if you are going to report the story, don’t just focus on how the black women acted, kin is as much at fault

If anyone had it coming it would have been Kim. I have watched the show and of all the women on that show Lisa by far stands heads above all of them, including Sheree. Lisa isn’t someone who married money popped out a couple of kids and sat on her butt after that, instead Lisa married someone she loves and clearly loves her, she has her own career, and from the looks of things has more going on than anyone on that show. Kim’s chicken remark made it clear to that she has some deep seated racial issues and you’d have to blind not to notice. If Kim made some crack at Lisa about her family it would not surpise me in the least, Kim is what most people would refer to as a dumb blond (and I am blond and say that)who has a sugar daddy supporting her fat butt. Kim has nothing going for her, nothing, she can’t sing, like Nene said, and the only thing going for that women is the married man that supports her, thats it. Kim was dumb enough to buy into Sheree’s crap, Sheree is just using Kim to get back at Nene, end of story because as soon as Sheree’s has no use to Kim, Kim will be kicked aside much like she did NeNe, which in my honest opinion, she has it coming. The show doesn’t paint a lot of these ladies in a kind lite, instead most of the look pathetic, lets take Sheree, this is a woman who is so self absorbed its silly, and I have no idea why she thinks she is succesful since the only thing she did was marry an NFL player, popped out a couple of kids and now wants a lump sum figure to rid herself of him. Now lets take DeShawn, this sweet girl in all honesty is a fish out of water, someone who is a wanna be, but I do like her and I think if she hangs with these women too long she will turn into one of them. As for NeNe, I like NeNe, but like some have said you can’t take the ghetto out of some people, but like I said I like NeNe because she keeps it real, has a lot going for her, unlike that pathetic piece of dog crap Sheree. As for Lisa, she is the only one on that show that has any class, end of story. As for Kim like I said, she is a kept woman by a man not about to go public with her because simply put, he’s married and if his wife got wind of that cheap tramp Kim she would take him to the cleaners..End of story
I totally agree. Lisa is the most grounded on the show but again she’s only human and Kim being the total bitch she is could make anyone go ghetto on her butt. Kim has no loyalty, as we saw with how she turned on Nene and it was only a matter of time before she ticked someone else off.
Kim and Sheree are the perfect pair, and what I mean by that is simple, Sheree saw Kim as easy pickin’s and the perfect way to get back at NeNe. The fact that Kim was dumb enough to fall for it in the first place tells me the kind of friend Kim makes, she is a follower nothing more. Do I agree with what NeNe did, no, but at the same time I am sure NeNe did not mean anything by it at all and was just having fun. Kim is a social climber just like Sheree both are very fake people with little or no class. NeNe is just NeNe, she is one of those people who keep it real, and tells you the first time how it is, and quite frankly I respect that. DeShawn is someone who is new to the area, and in all honesty and innocent person who has her heart in the right place. Lisa out of all of them is the true one with class, she is a class act straight up. Lisa has a lot going on for her no question about it. Sheree is someone who places value on people and how they look, a very shallow person someone with little or no class at all.As for Kim well lets face it big Pappa is a married man with a ho on the side, need I say more?
i dont know who JUAN is but all i have to say is even if obama is president, people are still going 2 hate there own got damn race cuz thats wat they been taught to do. You call it hot ghetto mess. look at the pervious seasons. I guess cuz there lily white its different. get a life its reality tv its suppose to be drama no matter wat race the people starring in it is.

First off all…your article was written in poor taste and judgement..How dare u call these ladies hood rats ..what is the different between the cracker ass ladies in the Oc.. nothing..drama is drama no mattter what race.. Lisa works, and the chicks from the OC work. You cleary have too much time on your hand to bash females (Black or white ) who are doing there thing/ And “babie daddies” PLEASE…. single mom or not, the OC and NY have kids, some are married to thier kids fathers HENCE a FAMILY!! U need to get out more and grow up
and Lastly, if u want to talk race, the real hood rat on the show was a WHITE woman LISA, dating a MARRIED man and having him as a SUGA DADDy…all the others married sports players and realestate agents, nothing different from what other females do.. its just THEY GOT ON A SHOW…BRAVO…watch what happens!!!
Reply to IL: Just wanted to set the record straight- from your post it appears that you are referring to Kim. She was the white lady and she was the one dating a married man.
This season is no more trashy or “ghetto” as any other. So don’t wait until some black women act crazy to call them every name in the book. This blog is just as “ghetto”.
I will agree will Shani….I feel that the blog is ghetto and sounds like it comes from a hoodrat. You say you havent watched all the episodes so maybe you missed the fact that Lisa is a real estate agent/broker, jewelry designer, artist, and mother of 3. And that Deshawn was her NBA husbands college sweetheart and struggled with him before the money and represents what real love, black love is, ans also a mom. And Nene is a college graduate and regardless of her money makes sure her kids clean up after themselves and is striving to make her boys independent men who dont need to rely on anyone. So drama is drama I dont see the OC housewives getting labeled poorly issues are issues one of those women’s son is on heroin what label do you have for her? It’s hard enough out here for black people with affluence to get a spot on TV but to talk down about them is hurtful. Grow up and check yourself!
How convenient of you to refer to these women as “hood rats” and “chicken-heads,” or to assume that because they are black they must have “transcended their ass up out the ghetto.” Juan, you are pretentious, stereotypical, and ignorant. By the end of your blog, I leave with two things: satisfaction that you chose to stop writing after five dreadful paragraphs, and an assurance of this old saying: Any fool can write a blog, it takes more for it to have substance…or something like that.
You know the last show something caught my eye and I wonder if anyone else saw it? It was when all the women were at the table to talk, and NeNe pointed out how long she had known Kim and Sheree. NeNe stated that things that had been said that had said that were miss quoted did anyone see the look that Sheree had, it was telling because she knew when NeNe said that, she knew what she had done, which she did anyway, she took what someone else told her and turned it to her favor knowing that she could get to Kim because after all Kim is a follower and not a leader. It was also telling in the fact that Sheree is the drama queen and trouble maker, she knew she could get to Kim, and she knew she could stick NeNe in the back by doing it, it was as if she had got one over on NeNe. The fact is if any of these women could see through Sheree they would see what a fake could hearted twit she is, and she will come between anyone to get what she wants. Sheree never liked NeNe because she knows deep down she isn’t half the woman NeNe is, nor can she compete. Kim was ridiculous without question because she was stupid enough to buy into the crap that Sheree fed her. Then again Kim if she had been a true friend to NeNe she would have talk to her first about what had happened in the limo and could have been told flat out the truth, because I know NeNe would have told her and she could have avoided all the crap that is now going on. Kim is an idiot, and I bet if the Atlanta housewives comes back for another season she won’t be on the show, and come to think of it since her and her “big Pappa” are no longer together it is my guess that she is now broke and no one but herself is footing her living expenses. Talk about a fool, she let Sheree feed her a line of crap and sold NeNe her true friend out to be friends with Sheree who is as fake and one of the most tastless people on the planet, I don’t think I have ever seen anyone this classless in my life, a true trash “ho” and that is what Sheree is. While we all think that Kim is going to get what she has coming I would have loved nothing better than to see Sheree get far worse, because after all she did start it between NeNe and Kim, which is what she sat out to do. To bad that none of these women could talk to one of us, after all we are all viewers and could see what was really going down. Just my opinion.
Oh my, I was a little disappointed in the reunion show, it was good but like always what they showed us to get us interested enough to watch was really not all that, if you know what I mean. I went to Lisa’s website and from what I read Lisa popped Kim in the mouth off camera, but it almost sounded like she did that on camera too. We all now know for fact that “Big Pappa” is married, that wasn’t new’s, but this stuff that she is making an record, I am sure “Dallas” isn’t the one recording it, it must be a record for those who are “tone deaf”..Kim can’t sing, and I guess someone told her how to spell “cat”..As for Lisa, sorry honey but I do remember the phone call and no matter how angry you get, you lied darlin, because it was “you who let the cat out of the bag about the song NeNe sang” period. Sheree, still not classy, and her line well we will all see if it hits the store in the fall of 2009, NOT! NeNe we love you, you keep it real. DeShawn is still a fish out of water, but I like her, she has a good heart. That is my take on the reunion show..Love to see what everyone here has to say..Oh and Kim needs an updated wig..

It sickens me how black women are criticized for saying things white women wish they could say. Lisa has been the most diplomatic and rational person of the season. You’ve never heard her degrade any of the women on the show by calling them bitches, or whores (though some of them acted the part). Juan, you’re saying because she had a moment where she let her anger get the best of her, that she’s ghetto. I think you need to take a trip to the ghetto and analyze what that word means. It’s so easy for a white person or a “privileged” black person to stereotype what “ghetto” means, but until you’ve seen it for yourself, you don’t have the right to label anyone as such. As for the show’s reflection on black people, who says that those women represent all black women? I guess all white women are whores for money then. She’s willing to demean herself and her morals for a wealthy man to take care of them. Who cares if he’s married? I guess the fact that she’s white makes it right? If anyone should have been labeled, it should have been her. DeShawn met her husband when they were both in college and there wasn’t a potential for him to go pro. Lisa met her husband after she had ownership in a company. Sheree, even has her own business investments and isn’t even married anymore. Regardless of how she met her ex-husband, she didn’t just sit on her but and live off his wealth like Kim. As for Ne-Ne, she couldn’t have been a gold digger as some people say she is, because she wouldn’t be thousands in debt or recently evicted from her home. it’s amazing what people will write for money and publicity
