Dr. Dre Sues Former Confidant and Author Of Tell-All-Book about Producer’s Life
Its always the closest one’s to you.
You might remember us talking about how Dr. Dre’s record “Bitch Niggas” off The Chronic 2001 was a subliminal dig at Will Smith who has always been very openly critical of violent rap songs and has urged artists to tone down their lyrics. The source of that information was the book “Rollin’ With Dre” writing by Bruce Williams, a close friend and confident of Dr. Dre’s for over 20 years.
Well since the book’s publishing and perhaps in part do to its tell-all content the two friends have reportedly had a falling out. TMZ.com is reporting that Dre filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court accuses Bruce Williams, of failing to pay back a loan worth $101,377.85.
The book which dropped last March, detailed Williams’ experience as what he calls Dre’s go-to-guy for close to 20 years. The tell-all delves into Dre’s personal and professional business including some of the very closed door events during the producer’s run at Death Row records.
Payback’s a bitch huh Williams. Looks like you’re the “Bitch Nigga” now.
