Beyonce and Solange Plan On Touring Together. Stop Acting Like You Don’t Care
Daddy Knowles must be tightening his deathgrip on his cash cows by keeping them in the same place at the same time.
Maybe it’s an awareness of tough economic times or maybe it’s just sisterly love but Solange and Beyonce will be going out on tour together soon. Now one might think that this means that Solange will be opening up for Beyonce. Actually quite the opposite is true. The way it’s being talked about now, people will go see Beyonce perform in an arena somewhere and then after the concert they can go to an official “After-party” at a small nightclub in the same city and use the ticket stub to see Solange perform.
The 110-date world tour that will start in April 2009 and visit Canada, Europe, the U.S. (spending a whole week in Las Vegas), Mexico, South America, Japan, Africa, and Australia.
So be prepared. Soon fans will be able to go see one of today’s most talented and beautiful R&B artist perform live. Beyonce will be there too.

Well honestly I dont care all that much for either artist myself. What I did find interesting is the idea of a tour where the artists on tour together don’t even perform at the same location. And it also brings to light the idea that Beyonce is this huge star that plays to packed arenas and and Solange is someone who plays at much more intimate locations. Just a comparison between the sisters. But don’t get it twisted, I won’t be trying to see the tour.
I still say Solange looks like actor Orlando Jones from Mad TV and Drumline.

Solange’s album was actually pretty good it had like kinda a Vivian Green feel to it maybe. Her music is very different from Beyonce so I don’t know how the tour will go.
They have two different audiences so that might explain their dual venue tour reasoning.
