Somehow Eve Is Still Getting Paid To Act
She has managed to get herself a starring role in a new film.
True Story. I was working on a theater production a few years back and the director of the was also an actor. He had a small roll in Barbershop 2 (he was the guy who had let his business get bought out near the start of the film). Everyday he had a story to tell us about working on the movie and how Eve was getting on everyone’s nerves because she absolutely sucked as an actress. She was literally adding days to the production of the film with her constant mistakes and lack of skills. After that I started paying more attention to Eve’s acting and she does indeed suck royally. That doesn’t seem to be stopping her from getting roles though.
Eve will be starring, along with Drew Barrymore, in a new comedy/drama called Whip It!. Eve will play a “derby diva” (whatever that is) named “Rosa Sparks”. The film will also mark the directorial debut for Drew Barrymore. Somehow I’m not seeing too much critical love for this one when it drops.
They just greenlight anything these days. Starring Eve and directed by Drew Barrymore? Can you say “Straight To DVD?”
“Straight to DVD” more like straight to T.V. perhaps CW will air it lol. I just bumped into your site today via blogtrot. This is awesome stuff man.
If this girl don’t look like a bronze female orangutan, I don’t know how does. I used to be a fan of her rap game and I tolerated her in the Barbershop movies but that damn show of hers sucked harder than a crack head in need of his or her next fix.
I won’t be wasting my time with any more of her acting endeavors.
