“?” of the Day: So Who Won That Debate Last Night?
They said it was McCain’s “last stand”. Is he back in it or is it a wrap?
While tryin’ to ge tthe site up I was able to catch most of the debate. I personally thought McCain was doing well for a while but then he just started getting all angry. If you watched on a network that held a split screen so both candidates at the same time you would have saw some of the most classic faces ever from McCain. All the while Obama was just playing it cool and coasting by. That’s what I got from it. Maybe you all got something different. So who do you think won the debate?
Oh and if you happened to miss the debate I’ve embedded a clip from it below.
FILED IN News

You know what? I think John McCain won. He accomplished more of his agenda in the debate. See the thing to watch in politics is the poll leader. Obama has been the clear cut leader for the last month, since the conventions really. I think since he’s been good his bar has been set higher. He’s been very eloquent in establishing his platform and it was going to take quite a lot from him or a total disaster from McCain in order to widen the gap.
On the other hand McCain just had to live up to his potential and folks would have recognized that as progress. The one thing that disturbed me from McCain however is that he started strong and finished angry. Is this how his presidency would go? I hope not. We can’t afford it.
I think McCain did much better than before he did what he was suppose to at the start but he lost track and stumbled. he lost focus almost like a boxer winning the fight and gets caught off guard with a strong right and forget his game plan.
Good analogy.
