So this dude is doing a whole album with the “T-Pain voice”? Wack

This joint is at least better than that “Love Lockdown”. Is he giving T-Pain some royalties for all this style jacking?

Tpain wasnt the only one using the vocoder nor was Roger troutman. many people have used it. So, royalties arent in order. props for using it music, sure. But implying/insinuating tpain or troutman invented it is foul. Everythign goes in cylces just like the earth goes around in a circle.

You are right, quite a few people have used it over the years. Another that comes to mind is Teddy Riley. However since T-Pain popped up on the scene the number of people using it is out of control. Diddy, Snoop, Kanye, Lil Wayne. I think it’s safe to say that if there was no T-Pain, then none of this guys would be inspired to try it out. So they certainly owe something to T-Pain. I wasn’t serious about the royalties but if I was T-Pain I’d be bothered by so many people borrowing my gimmick.
