MTV Joins the Reality Spinoff Hype with Series On Rev. Run’s ‘Pastry’ Daughters

Posted by Juan

“Daddy’s Girls” will follow Vanessa and Angela as they look to grow their brand

Angela and Vanessa

A couple of years ago Reality TV was all the rage but is it me or are reality spinoffs now the new fad?  VH1′s got yet another spinoff to the saga begun by Flavor Flav.  First it was the Surreal Life, then it was the show with him an Brigitte Nielsen (I forget the name), then of course the two installments of Flavor of Love, I Love New York, Rock of Love, I love Money and now A Real Chance at Love.

Well MTV is now getting into the spinoff party and will begin  developing a spinoff series to “Run’s House” which will feature Reverend Run’s daughters and successful entrepreneurs Vanessa and Angela Simmons.

The series which will be called “Daddy’s Girls,” will chronicle the girls plight as they try to grow their Pastry Shoe company all while adjusting to life in Los Angeles.

  1. BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! That’s gonna SUKk!!! I got a BETTER idea…put that WAKk rapper Jo-JO(Team Blackout/REv’s Son) back to work for Uncle Russell again. THAT WAS FUNNY!!!

  2. I wish my father was rich so I could stack major paper despite having marginal talent….yeah, I’m hating.

  3. Zack says:

It’s still gonna be “Run’s House” because they come home every other day like college students. LMAO!!!!! And um, Tyler Perry already did something called Daddy’s Little Girls. So, I don’t know who chose the title.
