MARKETING MATTERS: Ciroc Poised With New Holiday Ad Feat. Diddy
The art of “sophisticated celebration” comes to life
CIROC Vodka is once again rolling out its poster boy, Sean “Diddy” Combs for their latest ad campaign entitled “The Art of Celebration.” In the ad Diddy plays the roll of Frank Sinatra surrounded by his modern day “Rat Pack” for a sophisticated house party featuring Ciroc and and the sounds of Sinatra’s “Come Fly With Me.”
The ad was actually shot in black and white at one of Sinatra’s former California homes. In the commercial which I’m sure will be in heavy rotation on your TV real soon, Diddy does what Diddy does best…mingles.
“Frank Sinatra is one of my heroes. It was truly an honor to have had he opportunity to use Sinatra’s work and home for this campaign He defined sophisticated celebration as a lifestyle a generation ago. I couldn’t imagine a spirit more appropriate for such occasions today than Ciroc, a brand that has become synonymous with celebration.”
According to the Ciroc press release, during the holiday season, the campaign will evolve to safety and of course being a responsible drinker.
