Highbrid Nation Returns To Its Roots, Making Music
How many people out there knew the bloggers of HN were also Rappers, Producers and DeeJays?
Back when I first started HN my idea was to have an urban blog where the bloggers had better insight into the world of entertainment because they lived it first hand. After the site launched and time went on, we’ve kinda lost that angle. Most of the newer readers of HN have no idea that I’m an accomplished music producer or that Dos Un is a pretty ill emcee. Actually our whole staff have been involved in making music in some way or another.
So what I’ve decided to do is reintroduce our readers to our past projects as well as give our readers some new material over time to better give you some insight into the guys behind this great sight.
The first joint I want you guys to check out is iBrid. This was an EP we did that featured production by myself and P.O.P. Tracks include tracks by Cahmodity, C-Hyphen/Gem*star and 4PL/Rascal. It’s only 7 tracks, so there is no excuse not to grab the whole thing but if money is a lil tight, you can get each track on its own for .99 cents each.

(iBrid is also available on Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, Yahoo!, Zune Store, and many more)
Be on the look out for much more Highbrid Nation Music in the future as we expand what Highbrid Nation is about (and get our guys to dust off their mics
).

Well, I guess you learn something new every day.
.
I thought you guys were just the uber-hip advertising tycoons.
.
If you ever want to jam, let me know; I play a mean triangle.
.
Now if I can just get you guys to rap about runaway inflation, debt ceilings and monitary policy, we’d be all set
Its a funny story that me and Juan may have to delve deeper into when we finally get around to completing that book but our advertising biz came about from us trying to offset costs of our music biz. Even Highbrid Outdoor came about from our desire to make music.
As for those triangle skills, not sure if we need a triangle but I am looking for someone who plays a mean cowbell
Wow, that tight! You guys just keep it going, and here I thought I knew it all. lol.
lmao at malcolm, yeah we are definitely trying tina
Yeah I envy these rap guys. I’m not much into bling. I used to dable in production but I’ve always said I’ll leave the mic to the experts.
By the way. I followed the link to your main business site. Hats off to whoever did your site, it is VERY well done
thanks. send any clients you know to us boss
back to the roots
