New Left Eye Album Set To Drop
After all these years, Left Eye fans are getting treated to a solo album. I bet you want to care, but you don’t.
Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez has been gone for quite a while now. She lost her life in a tragic accident while on a retreat in Honduras. What most people don’t know is that before she died, Left Eye had completed an album called Supernova and it even had limited release outside the states. The reason why it was never released here was because L.A. Reid thought it was hot garbage. After that huge disappointment she went over to Death Row and recorded a few songs under the name N.I.N.A. but she never got that full solo release she was looking for before she passed.
All these years later though, a new Left Eye album is set to drop featuring unreleased songs from the TLC emcee. Tracks will feature guest spots from Missy Elliot, Tupac Shakur, Chamillionaire, Lil Mama, and Bobby Valentino. Noticeably missing is her fellow TLC group members Chilli and T-Boz.
Added with the fact that the project is being released on Koch, I think this one is going to arrive D.O.A. I’d recommend those Left Eye fans just keep “Waterfalls” on repeat and not waste your time with this one.
Maybe I’m wrong though. What do you guys think?
Album will be in stores Nov. 11th

“I bet you want to care, but you don’t” That sums it up for me. Sometimes when an artist dies it’s ok to let them rest.
tupac is on this too, wow
