Kanye’s P*ssy Grows More Pubes. Moves Album Date To Dodge Another 50 Showdown
Fear, Strategy or Anxiety?
In boxing they say the Champ should never take a re-match he’s not confident he can win. Well if Kanye West was a boxer folks would be questioning his heart right now (not that they aren’t already.) In a post on his blog Wednesday Kanye announced to relatively little fan fair that he’s pushed the release date of his mildly anticipated album “808s & Heartbreak” from December 16 to November “something.”
Now while the move will avoid another 4th Quarter head-to-head sales battle with his arch rival 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct” it was clearly not billed the same way as their previous “Graduation“/ “Curtis” match up and choice in this year’s original release dates was “said” to be nothing more than a coincidence.
But the move by Kanye begins to smell of fear, especially with the absence of an official date. Kanye’s excuse? “I finished the album and I felt like..,” he wrote. “I want yall to hear it as soon as possible.”
Hmmmm… a couple of weeks ago we didn’t even know the project existed and may not have but now he can’t wait to get it on your iPod. At a time when the economy is in the toilet, not only would the added attention from the showdown, albeit tempered from last year, boost sales but the December Holiday rush could hurt either. Then again I’m not copping either album so who am I to talk.

say juan why u banging on the most creative nigga out right now. he stomped 50’s ass by about 400,000 copies the last time…its kinda like 50 want a rematch like the kid that gets his ass whooped then be like i bet you caint do it again…Ye aint skurred just dont wanna participate in that bullshit again. why would you keep fight a nigga u know u can murder. too easy. no hype no nothin. just music.
Honestly like most I actually don’t mind Kanye. He’s creative I agree but his tendencies and all the extra ish is what turns people off. He’s not a great emcee but neither is 50. I’m by no means a 50 rider at all. I bought Kanye’s last album and didn’t buy 50’s.
What gets me is why he does the things he does. He’s what these shorties call “extra.” I just don’t see the point in moving up the project. Do what makes sense…if you don’t I’ma pull your card.
Nah I feel you most certainly. Like I said I have an article written about Kanye from the Source that I used to have pinned up in my dorm room for inspiration. This was years before he signed with the roc. Believe it or not he was wearing a jersey in the photo. What I’m saying is that his confidence is becoming, his music is becoming, his creativity is unmatched but he clouds all that with his antics. As a FAN and I am a big fan I wish he would lay low sometimes.
ok i feel you. touche’
I dont look at him as a emcee at all, he’s a entertainer. All his stunts make me not want to listent to him. I fuck with his production, but thats where it ends. By the way, FUCK RECORD SALES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you must not have swag.
