HomeManager Frame: Smart Landline Phone
iPhone Home Edition?
AT&T with help from Samsung has come out with a home phone that I’m (part time nerd) hyped about. Its called the HomeManager Frame and its basically has alot of functionalities as the wildly popular iPhone. Some of the features are Visual Voicemail, Yellow Pages, Weather, Current Events and Address Book Synching. If you’re unaware of Visual Voicemail its a cool function which allows you to see your voicemail and pick the ones you want to hear. Its like text messages, you might have three text messages but you only read the ones you desire. The console sports a 7-inch touchscreen and is “only” $299. The downside is HomeManager is only available in Chicago, Atlanta, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles. AT&T showed no love for Tri-State Area as yet but I will keep you informed when that happens. Video shows some of HomeManager capabilities. Thanks Engadget.
