Mini Review – Eagle Eye
Another film about the government watching you is one that should be watched.
Eagle Eye, a movie concept that has been done before has stepped it up to a level that will have you guessing to the end. The movie can best be described as the love child of Enemy of the State and iRobot minus any genetic make-up of Will Smith and replaced with the Matrix.Eagle Eye is a action packed that walked the very fine line between science fiction and science fact. It starts off with a counter-terroristic decision that can result in a reshuffle of America’s political ladder. Once activated Jerry’s (Shai Labeouf) life is completely turned around with the FBI’s terrorism watch dog (Billy-Bob Thorton) hot on his tail, but who is really watching who?
If you are looking for a smart movie with intense action and an interesting (and maybe true) concept, Eagle Eye is for you, if you do not see it Friday, trust me they will know. [3 1/2 H Blades out of 5]
