Lakeview Terrace Mini-Review

Posted by Mike "Evorgleb" Belgrove

Thinking about seeing Sam’s newest flick? Might want to read this first.

I was somehow convinced to go see Lakeview Terrace this past weekend and I can honestly say that it was rather wack. Recently Samuel L. Jackson was named the highest grossing actor in Hollywood. I’m convinvinced this is because homie just doesn’t care what roles he takes. No matter how bad a script is, he’ll take the role as long as his schedule allows. A bad script was the the only only thing that plagued Lakeview Terrace. It just had one of the worst plts I’ve seen in a major motion picture. Samuel L. Jackson plays a bad neighbor. That’s basically the whole story. He’s a bad neighbor and he gets on other’s nerves.

If you are thinking about seeing this movie, don’t. I promise you’ll regret it. I did.

My 18 year old bro thought otherwise. He enjoyed the movie a lot! But then again, he IS 18 and you are probably a little older than that.

I still might go see it because of how reverse psychology works. You are telling me that it’s bad, but like any human being- I have to see it for myself. :)

That bad huh! I was almost convinced to go and see it, but I passed. I’ll check it out when it hits cable.

And I’m with Samuel L. Jackson on taking the bank if his schedule allows. Jackson pours his heart into his work, good or bad script. The phone is going to stop ringing one of these days, might as well pocket as much as possible in the meantime.
