Lil Wayne Resigns with Cash Money/ Universal

Posted by Juan

And to think athletes play best in thier contract year. That doesn’t say much for Weezie

Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne has re-signed his contract with Ca$h Money Records.  There is no word on the finance particulars of the deal or for how many albums but it should at very least take him through the Carter VII.  The rapper, if you’d call him that, has the proud distinction of being Ca$h Money’s biggest and smallest recording artist as well as its least understood.  He also serves as the label’s president….what a frightening thought.  Does your job’s executive look, talk, act and dress like that?  Imagine leaving YOUR company to be figure headed by Weezie…jeeze.

The deal is also said to expand his run with his independent outfit Young Money under which Mack Maine, who none of the Highbrid Nation has ever heard is housed.

I can understand that you wanna make fun news or whatever but saying you’ve never heard Mack Maine just shows how much you know about the subject you do….Fuckin christ, the kid has been on so many of Weezy’s tracks in the last few yrs….Juan, you’re just dumb, not funny, dumb

Its tongue in cheek Keezy. Tongue in cheek humor. Stop taking everything so seriously. I know Mack Money was on that garbage “Got Money” track with T-Pain but I’m embarrassed to say that I even know that. I write for the Highbrid Nation audience and I’d be willing to bet that for the most part most of them don’t know who Mack Maine is or even care.
I grew up in the golden era of Hip Hop where music was spun on wax. Today’s music doesn’t make sense to me and I won’t make any apologies for it. While I do welcome your criticism and it’s valid, I also welcome you to challenge me on why I should care about Maine or even Weezie for that matter. I’m willing to listen.

WoW Keezy you must really love WEEZY(homo)! How long have you liked the guy because he USE to be my favorite rapper back in the day until he dropped 500 degrees going at my boy Juvi. Im only 22 yrs old, but i do have taste in good quality HIP-HOP, and T-Wayne at this current time, just isnt IT. He doesnt make a lick of sense anymore in his songs, he just know how to make words sound good together. To be honest, dude isnt even my top five, still alive… oNe

Second, you must be a really big Lil’Wayne dick rider to sound like you know so many non-important facts about him. GET A LIFE! Thanks for the news Juan!!!!

  5. Zack says:

Juan, you did ya thing! You made sure that nobody came in your territory and disrespected you without retribution.

No, I don’t know who Mack Maine is either.

I wrote a parody rap about Weezy, and here’s a sample:

    Yezzir, I am Wee-zay,/
    I am Young But I Ain’t Jeezay/
    I Sell Stuff Like E-bay/
Eddie Murphy Was The Voice of the Super
    On Dey PJs/
    I’m A Red Light/
    But You Ain’t Stopping Me/
    I’m Britney’s Baby/
    But You Ain’t Dropping Me/

I Drive By You/ I Can Buy You
    I Was An Extra In A Film/
    Called Eve’s Bayou/
    I Eat Salad Dressing/
    After I Say The Blessing/
    Some Call It Grace/
    Like Debra Messing

I’m just joking Keezy, before you get on my case too. Just understand that people have their views about Weezy, and you have to respect them- especially on their home turf!

  6. Juan says:

As I thought…the Nation has spoken. Wayne is overrated and Mack Maine is irrelevant. My suggestion would be to those out there who are “confused” about hip hop to stop listening to what the RADIO tells you is hot.

    • tightenup says:

I do agree that Mack Maine is irrelevent. I would’nt go to the extent to say that Wayne is overated. You gotta read between the punch lines! “We are not the same I am a Marsian”. He also says he gonna do this shit for his click like Adam Sandler hence putting Mack Maine on and lettin him make a couple mill!

  7. Uncle Ruckus says:

“…I’ve quit all my jobs. What am I supposed to do now? Maybe I should rap or sell crack or rap about selling crack”.

  8. J Blaze says:

Ya’ll R trippin’ no matter what u say about weezy he is the hottest thing out there right now.
