VH1 to Count Down ‘Hip Hop’s Greatest Songs’ & Profile’s N.W.A.

VH1 will be counting down hip hop’s 100 greatest singles and profiling the legendary rap group N.W.A. this fall.
On September 29th, the network will air a five part series titled 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs.
The show will highlight rap’s most influential songs by revealing the story behind each of them and finding out what the respective song-makers are doing today.
Some of the rappers who will be profiled in the series include Public Enemy, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Salt-N-Pepa, Outkast, Eminem and Grandmaster Flash, among others.
On October 3rd, the network will air VH1 Rock Doc: NWA: The World’s Most Dangerous Group.
The documentary, which will be narrated by Chris Rock, will take a look into the rap’s group’s history and will feature interviews with Ice Cube, MC Ren, Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, Eazy-E’s widow Tomica Woods-Wright, Ice T and director John Singleton, among others.
