New Big Pun Documentary ‘The Legacy’ Said To Drop Soon
Will Fill in the gaps that “Still Not A Player” failed to address
I’ve always been a huge movie buff but over the years I’ve developed a serious appreciation and dare I say love affair with documentaries. Perhaps it is a product of getting older or perhaps they’re just more interesting now adays.
That’s why I’m crazy excited about the upcoming release of the Big Pun Documentary entitled Big Pun: The Legacy. The flick which was directed by Vlad Yudin and produced by Edwin Mejia is said to focus primarily on Big Pun’s career as the 2003 Marcos Antonio Miranda directed, “Still Not a Player” documented more of Pun’s personal life. For many Pun fans “Still Not a Player” left a void that the new documentary hopes to fulfill.
According to UndergroundHipHop.comThose said to make appearances in the flick include Raekwon, Xzibit, DJ Enuff, Armageddon, Snoop Dogg of course the entire Terror Squad (past and present) and many more. The film will also document Liza Rios, Big Pun’s widow role in his career.
Last week XXLmag.com interviewed Yudin about the film and the impact Pun had. Then peep the trailer below.

true emcee beats, a must cop
It’s been over 8 years since his death. It will be interesting if people will still want to see this with the time that has passed. There is no question that he spit good, but with some much in the rap industry changed, how will people perceive it.
I passed a kid on the street while playing Biggie and they asked “Who’s that?” not konwing or EVER hearing his music before. It shows me, time has definitely moved on, and those who are younger may won’t see this documentary as interesting.
Not knowing Biggie? You can’t call yourself Hip Hop. That’s just blasphemy.
Agreed!!!
Definitely a must get.
Real walk…Pun had that illegal Fully-automatic flow!!!
