…Yeah yeah, its been a while since I’ve been excited about a video game to movie transition. But “Max Payne”(played by Mark Wahlberg, good look) is one of the those games I would spend ALL DAY playing(6 hours maybe). And by comparing it to the following trailer, it looks like the movie may live up to the games dark reputation.
From the low-tones mental monologues to Max’s constant disturbing memories of his family being brutally murdered. And soundtrack thus far is identical to the game…another good look.

The ONLY things that make me iffy about this though are the ‘demons’ shown. At first I was thinking it was just symbolic of the world surrounding Payne. IE:End of the trailer is the guy “falling” out the window SYMBOLIC of death and him being shot out of it. Or is he being taken away physically? The only close to that in the game were them crazy dudes yelling “THE FLESH!!!”…soooo…???

Either way, October 17th isn’t going to come fast enough for me. It’ll tide me over until the rumors of Max Payne 3(the game) are confirmed.
